Scope and Contents

This small collection consists of a gold plate and program commemorating the 50th anniversary of City Auto Stamping, which was an automotive body part die manufacturer established in Toledo in 1929. It spawned Sheller-Globe in 1966, of which it became a division. Sheller-Globe was acquired by United Technologies Corporation in 1989.

Collection is open for research. Materials may be accessed by request at the Ward M. Canaday Center for Special Collections on the fifth floor of the William S. Carlson Library on the main campus of the University of Toledo. Materials do not circulate.
