Scope and Contents
This collection contains multiple awards from various years dating from 1972 to 2018, as well as photos from multiple events that took place during the same years. The awards are of activities, attendance, members’ years of service, Honorable Mentions and a Certificate of Appreciation. There are also minutes books and membership records spanning multiple years, Red Cross Blood Drives records, and other major events such as the Initiation Banquet. Also included in the collection are three scrapbooks, mostly undated with the exception of the one from 2012-2013. Finally, there are CDs that are of the 75th Anniversary Convention in 2000 at Memphis, TN.

Conditions Governing Access
Collection is open for research. Materials may be accessed by request at the Ward M. Canaday Center for Special Collections on the fifth floor of the William S. Carlson Library on the main campus of the University of Toledo. Materials do not circulate.

Biographical / Historical
The Ohio Beta Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta was founded at the University of Toledo in 1947. It is a National Health Professional Honors Society dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in preprofessional health scholarship. The organization engages in the pursuit of professional development, provides a forum for students with common interests, and extends a program of service to benefit the college or university community. The business of the society is conducted by the national officers, regional directors, and active chapters that are authorized with the national convention. There are a total of five regions in the United States, and Ohio is part of the second region.
