Scope and Contents

Collection consists of negatives of photographs taken by Chapell Studios, Inc. of the fall and spring 1996 and the February 18, June 14, and December 20, 1997 UT commencement ceremonies. Photographs include general views of commencement and shots of each individual graduate as they received their diploma.

Indexes were prepared by the studio. The negatives are arranged by order number (which is the reel number), and then by film roll number on each reel. The index provides access by individual frame on each roll. NOTE: Researchers should use cotton gloves when handling negatives.

Conditions Governing Access

Collection is open for research. Materials may be accessed by request at the Ward M. Canaday Center for Special Collections on the fifth floor of the William S. Carlson Library on the main campus of the University of Toledo. Materials do not circulate.”
