City Auto Stamping 50-Year Anniversary Commemorative Plate and Program

Scope and Contents This small collection consists of a gold plate and program commemorating the 50th anniversary of City Auto Stamping, which was an automotive body part die manufacturer established in Toledo in 1929. It spawned Sheller-Globe in 1966, of which it became a division. Sheller-Globe was acquired by United Technologies Corporation in 1989.
