This series contains correspondence, lists, publications, minutes reports, and other material pertaining to the administration of residence halls through the years of 1952-1975. It includes material concerning the Women’s Residence Halls, Men’s Residence Halls, and Housing in general.
The collection is arranged alphabetically under each of the main headings.
The collection consists almost entirely of sheet music and published scores, all composed by Gould Hochman from ca. 1951 to 1991. The materials are arranged chronologically according to publication date of each piece of music. The collection also contains some promotional material in the form of posters and programs. These items date from portions of the 1950s-1970s, with some items from the 1990s as well.
The Maude Shapiro Papers consist of correspondence regarding various departments of the City of Toledo, including the Health, Law, Safety, and Service Departments. Other materials in the collection pertain to community development, housing, revenue sharing, urban renewal projects, and daily reading files as well as event invitations received by Shapiro.
The collection consists of minutes, 1909-1915; by-laws; speech notes; newspaper clippings; correspondence; pamphlets; and fliers pertaining to the suffrage movement and its activities.
